HAITI
MISSION TRIP NEEDS SUPPORT
Director of Student
Ministry, Andrew Latulippe, is hoping to go to Haiti next month with
Adventures in Missions to assist in the relief effort to help survivors of
the recent earthquake. There are still many who are suffering and need
aid or assistance. Andrew is hoping to raise the approximate cost of the
trip which is $2,000. For more info on the trip, see Andrew or log on

| OPEN DOOR FOOD DRIVE
- February 21 through April 11 at AELC |

Every time you visit the church for ANY reason during this time, you are
asked to bring one non-perishable food item or $1 for Open Door, a local
organization serving Prescott's homeless and low-income residents.
This year's congregational goal is 6,000 items and/or dollars.
For every $3 donated, Thrivent Financial will match $1. Collection
boxes are available at the main church entrances. |

FOOD ITEMS MOST NEEDED BY OPEN DOOR: Soups; any protein (peanut butter,
canned milk, canned meats, chili); and canned fruit. ALL DONATIONS
ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED! |

| MOPS (Mother of
Preschoolers) |
|
MOPS is still in need of
volunteers. Ideally, 16 volunteers are needed each Thursday MOPS meets.
Currently, there are 10 volunteers on a rotating basis. Can you help with
child care once or twice each month for the morning (first and third
Thursdays)? If so, please contact Amy

| CONFIRMATION PRAYER
PARTNERS |
|
Prayer Partners are needed for the current year's Confirmation students.
Prayer Partners commit to secretly “adopting” a confirmation student for the
year, praying specifically and intentionally for him or her, and writing an
occasional note of support and encouragement to their confirmand.

| LITERACY TUTORS |
|
Literacy Outreach is in need of tutors. The ministry's mission is to
help those in the community gain the skills needed to read at not cost to
them by providing tutors and educational resources in a Christian
environment. Following training, the time commitment to be a tutor is
approximately one hour/week per student assigned. Contact Evelyn

| COUNTING TEAMS |
|
Searching for 2 individuals with availability on Monday mornings to be part
of one of the three Counting Teams responsible for counting AELC's weekly
offerings and monetary deposits. Teams are scheduled on a rotating
basis. Finance or cash-handling experience is preferred but not
required.

| THE ROCK |
|
Come
join the team at The Rock, AELC’s high school outreach ministry. Volunteers
are being recruited for the following shifts: Mondays from 3:00-4:00 PM;
Wednesdays from 1:00-3:00 PM; and Fridays from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. Backups
are also needed for filing in when other volunteers must be absent. The
Rock is located across the street from Prescott High School at 655 Talwatha.
Have a pickup truck and available
Wednesdays between 11AM and 1PM? The Rock is in need of someone to
pick up and deliver the weekly Costco order. Please contact
Dave Helgeson
if you're able to fill this need.

| CHILDREN'S MINISTRY |
|
Children’s Ministry is in search of KidZone volunteers! Two volunteers per
KidZone class are needed to help one Sunday per month during the 10:00 AM
worship services. Seniors, adults, and youth are all welcome to participate
and share their talents. |

| MUSIC MINISTRY -
CONTEMPORARY |
|
Musicians (especially guitarists, bass players,
drummers, and vocalists) for contemporary services in the Fellowship Hall
are needed on an ongoing basis. Please contact
