TEENS' CLOSET AND SHOWERS ROCK!

New Programs Beginning This Fall at The Rock

AELC's high school outreach facility, The Rock, is VERY excited about two new programs which will be offered a few times a week after school at The Rock: "Teens’ Closet” and “Showers Rock!”.

At Teens’ Closet, a large closet at The Rock will be stocked with clothing for high school students who need them.  For Showers Rock!, the three showers at The Rock will be made available to high school students who have this need.

Below is a list of items needed to get these two important programs off and running:

Teens’ Closet: Clean, casual clothing in good to excellent condition for both male and female high school  students.  Clothing such as jeans, t-shirts, pullover shirts, button-down shirts, zip-up or pullover hoodies, jackets/coats, and casual shoes. (No socks or underwear, please.)

Showers Rock!: Towels, washcloths, and bathmats in good or excellent condition. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap.

Please contact Krystal Koons if you would like to volunteer your time or donate any of the items listed.  Thank you for helping teens who are less fortunate, and for helping us get these two new programs off the ground!

DEWEY-HUMBOLDT, PRESCOTT VALLEY "SO WHAT?" BIBLE STUDY  7:00 PM on Mondays

Under the leadership of Pastor Frank Caron, this group will meet weekly to study the texts from AELC's Tell Me the Story 2011 sermon series. Each week is a stand-alone session, so participants can attend one, some, or all of the sessions.  For more information call Pastor Storvick at the church office (445-4348) or Pastor Frank Caron (775-0949).

SERMON SERIES FOR 2011

"Tell Me the Story: 52 Key Bible Stories"

The pamphlet, "52 Key Bible Stories" serves as a guide for the series; copies are available for purchase ($4) in the Narthex, Fellowship Hall lobby, and church office.
