New Member Sponsors
The goal of American Lutheran Church is to “Gather, Grow and Go,” and our church has been very blessed with having a number of new members added to our church family of late. As a result, the Board of Deacons has established a new ministry team named “New Member Sponsor Ministry.” The Board of Deacons requests that current members of American Lutheran Church seriously consider becoming involved in this valuable new ministry, with the goal of providing information to our new members so that they can familiarize themselves with American Lutheran Church and become involved in the church ministries. Duties of a New Member Sponsor include:
- Praying for those you are sponsoring;
- Reviewing the list of opportunities at American Lutheran Church and answering any questions that the new member may have;
- Introducing new members to the contact for a specific program or ministry if there is an interest; and
- Making a one year commitment.
