Child Care Cancellations Due to Weather
and Emergency Situations
If Prescott Unified School District delays school for
any
reason in the morning,
child care at AELC will not be available before Noon.
If Prescott Unified School District cancels school for
any
reason,
child care at AELC will be cancelled for all events occurring during the day
and in the evening.
For current information on PUSD delays or cancellations, go to
www.prescottschools.com
and click on “Snow Day Info” at the top of the page, or listen to local
radio stations for updates. Information is usually posted by 5:30 AM.

| Childcare is available on Sundays for birth through through 2 years
(10:00 AM services) and birth through age 5 (5:00 PM service) in Noah's Nursery, located on the
first floor hallway between the Sanctuary and the Fellowship Hall.

| KidZone meets at 10:00 AM in the downstairs Education Wing for
children 3 years old through 5th grade. |

| Cub Scouts - for boys in Grades 1st - 5th |
|
| Vacation Bible School held each summer for 3 years through
5th Graders. The theme for 2010 is "High
Seas Expedition." Dates are June 7-11, from 9:00 AM to
12:00 PM. |

Soul Café
Kids - Wednesday evenings
during Soul Cafe, is learning in a friends' club-like atmosphere for
children 3 years old (potty trained) through 5th Grade. Nursery
is available for younger children. |

for middle & high school youth
Ignite's purpose is to spark personal relationships
between students and Christ, encouraging them to imitate Jesus, worship God
with their words and actions, hold each other accountable, and consider
others' needs before their own. Based
on these five Biblical purposes and scriptures: Evangelism-Mathew 28:19;
Discipleship-Ephesians 5:1; Worship-Romans 21:1; Fellowship-Proverbs 27:17;
and Ministry-Philippians 2:3-5

| D Groups - AELC's youth ministry
continues D (Discipleship) groups on Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM for Middle
School students. Students split into small groups to discuss Biblical
discipleships at The Rock. |

| Boy Scouts - for ages 11 through 18 |
|
| Confirmation for 7th and 8th graders is a
one-year course which begins September 16, 2009. Pastor Dan Storvick
will be teaching, assisted by Director of Student Ministry, Andrew
Latulippe. For more information or to register, please

| Senior High School Ministries
grades 9-12 |
| The Rock, located across the street from Prescott High School, at 655 Talwatha
Street is an outreach mission to high school students. Days and hours
of operation are: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during PHS lunch periods;
Mondays from 3:00-4:00 PM; and Wednesdays from 1:00-3:00 PM. You may
reach The Rock directly by calling (928) 541-1044. |
