The prolific writer of the New Testament letters, Paul the Apostle was one of the first Christian missionaries. Our 11-day journey will trace Paul’s journey through Greece and Turkey's ancient cities and pastoral countryside. 

Walking the path of Paul the Apostle, we will discover rustic beauty and ancient history on this Grecian sojourn. We will visit the ancient Roman city of Ephesus, Turkey. Explore the Acropolis in Athens. Discover the biblical town of Corinth and see the Agora and the Bema, where Paul was brought before the tribunal. Stop in Philippi, where Paul delivered his first sermon in Europe and baptized Lydia, the first Christian. On our journey, we will feel the spirit of the New Testament as we visit the places where the great apostle lived and preached.

Additionally, we will admire the view from the Acropolis, home to the legendary Parthenon—journey to Kavala, where Paul first set foot on European soil.  Visit two breathtaking monasteries in Meteora and learn about the resident monks. Take in the views of Santorini’s volcanic caldera and towering cliffs from your cruise ship. Feast on local Greek cuisine and fine wine in a traditional taverna. A 3-night cruise of the magical Greek islands of Mykonos, Patmos, and Santorini is also included.

If you have come this far, maybe you would be interested in going a little farther to complete Paul’s life journey with an extension to Rome, Italy.  We will travel from Athens on an inspirational journey to Rome and experience fascinating religious sites connected to the life of Paul the Apostle, recalling both his first and second visits to the city. Some locations we will journey to are the Abbey of Tre Fontane (Three Fountains), built on the believed site of Paul’s martyrdom. The Basilica of St. Paul, the Apostle’s tomb, and the Mamertine Prison, where Paul was arrested, bound in chains, and executed.  We will also visit the Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel, to name a few locations.
