LIFT Women's Bible Study
Tuesdays from 3PM-5PM in the Library

LIFT is Living In Faith Together. All women are invited to participate!

Next study begins Tuesday, October 6 – Surviving Epic Trials: 10 Lessons from the Life of Noah by Robyn Coffman.  This study was first presented at ALC's Women of Wisdom ministry in 2017 by the author, who is a Prescott resident. Participants, you may purchase your book on Amazon (link provided below).

“Had I Known…” We’ve all said these words, not casually, but from a place of real pain. When life blindsides us, the collision of confusion, despair, and fragile hope can leave us reeling. This is where our story and Noah’s connect.

Maybe you’re like me. You learned a Sunday School version of the story of Noah and the flood. Forty days of rain. Two of every animal. A dove brings an olive leaf. A rainbow appears. But did you know it would be over a year before Noah walked on dry land once the flood began? Neither did he.

What happens after the flood, the part rarely talked about, is the most terrifying and gripping part of Noah’s story…and it lasted more than 300 days. Noah didn’t know the fullness of what was coming and, often, neither do we. This is where his story has the power to transform our faith, our hope, our lives.

Let this in depth study be a road map to help navigate the most uncertain and difficult trials of your life. Together, we’ll dive beneath the surface and discover lessons from Noah’s life to help you through your life’s storms. Along the way, you’ll discover the ten phases of a trial—each with its own unique temptation and goal. Get ready to learn, as Noah did, how to survive epic trials. At minimum, you will be amazed. But just maybe, you’ll be transformed.
